Will you envision a new world?

Whisper Message
Early one morning, half way between sleep and awakening, a spontaneous image appeared to LaRue. It was an image of a greeting card. The front of the card read, “Planting seeds with God” and had a graphic of seeds falling out of the heavens. Inside the card was a packet of flower seeds. When LaRue inquired to its meaning the Whisper said, “Words are like planted seeds. Negative words produce weeds in the garden of life. Words of truth, love, and understanding will grow into the most glorious life.”
Conversations are sometimes seeds. LaRue and her friend Shirley were talking about LaRue finding Laura’s wallet in the ladies room of the Denver Airport a couple of weeks ago. (Click here for that story.) LaRue shared with Shirley how intrigued and perplexed she was that people were amazed at her honesty. Shirley said something that planted a seed for a new world vision in LaRue. Listen here.

I am with you! I believe in that goodness too…….. last summer I left my wallet in London Heathrow Airport by the cyber station… realized it as I landed in Detroit! Some good person returned it! I got it back and had a great time telling the story of faith in humanity!!! Hope we all remember that during this Christmas season too!

Hi LaRue, Thanks for the message this morning. You know I feel like I already walk in that world (at least a lot of the time). We can wish for more and more people to join, but I believe that world exists right now and we just need to spread the word!
Also I think that honesty and respect and love are our native state as humans and I think this is actually already the overwhelmingly dominant mode in the world today. This is not in denial of the places in the world where suffering is great, but I think we overfocus on these places where peace and love are not happening and over-extrapolate this awareness to the entire world. At the risk of sounding too “polyanna” think about how most of your days go, the checkout people at the store are nice, the mail gets delivered, no one steals your car, your partner smiles at you and gives you a kiss….Life is pretty good!
