Have you ever felt a desire or made a decision to do something, but just as you are acting on the decision you feel an inner constriction to stop. Which of those feelings is the real inner guidance? Should you push through the decision, or stop what you are doing? We are told, most often, to push through to our desires, and that to realize our goals we must actively pursue and act on our decisions. But is that what inner guidance is? And can you tell the difference?

Vanessa,
Thanks for this whisper! It was just what I have been experiencing. I have been following my constrictions and not moving in the direction I thought I was to go…what a gift! Instead, I discovered the joyous expression that was appropriate for me next. I am thrilled.
It is especially powerful because in my past I was trained to push through that resistance or constriction. While it seemed to work then, it is no longer the way I choose to live my life.
I much prefer following the guidance of spirit. As I do, life is unfolding at such a wonderfully joyous and exhilarating pace.

This is wonderful Rita! You have mastered following and trusting your essential Whisper. It speaks to us through our inner sensations and the sensation of constriction is a very valid and accurate message that we have moved away from alignment from guidance. Good for you!
