Can negative emotions be messengers too?

June 7, 2010
Whisper Message

Emotions! We have many of them and facet and range of emotions can be down right fascinating!  And, just as fascinating is how quickly we can shift from joy to anger and back to joy again.  Emotions are one of the primary ways that we communicate with ourselves.

Emotions are not the same as the sensations that we speak about in Your Essential Whisper, which are extra-sensory so to speak. Emotions are of the five physical senses, yet they are a necessary part of personal communication with Self.   We often have judgment about our emotions and will do everything we can to deny or avoid them; especially emotions that we judge as bad such as anger. If every emotion is a messenger, what is the message of anger?

As we embrace and experience what ever it is we are feeling both the positive and the negative, authentic power is returned to us.  Until next week, we send you rays of love.
