It Matters What You Call It

Whisper Message
Have you ever thought about the names we give to things? Why is a tree called a tree? And do you know that you cannot distinguish something or even see it if you have no name for it? The Chinese have their word for “red” for the bright crimson color they use extensively in their culture. However, they do not have the word “pink” for the lighter version of red, and therefore do not distinguish between the two colors. Also, we often don’t see things we don’t expect to see. More pedestrian accidents (hit by cars) occur in areas with no or little pedestrian traffic, as opposed to areas with high pedestrian traffic.
LaRue and Vanessa have given you names for the Six Distinct Ways for the sensations of guidance to show up in your life. By naming these experiences as guidance you are more likely to “see” inner guidance operating in your life. Vanessa found naming her “work space” made all the difference.
