Turning Frustration Around
April 25, 2011
Whisper Message
Frustration is one of those really uncomfortable feelings we’d rather do without. Yet there is some real benefit to feeling frustration. Frustration happens usually when we are stretching ourselves into something new or uncharted. As long as we don’t mistake frustration as guidance and instead rely on the guidance of Inspiration that compels our desires and goals… we will achieve SUCCESS!

Your videos are amazing, and getting beyond good. Quite your medium, Vanessa!
And yes, frustration IS the flip-side of success. The word that popped into my head while watching you was: PERSISTENCE. Not blind persistence, but inspired persistence: staying the course while making the adjustment, but staying the course.
Often, the word “stubborn” is surrounded by negative (undesirable) connotations. For good reasons. Yet, your words reminded me the positive side (yes, everything has two sides) of the word: stubbornness as the fuel, the basis for persistence in spite of frustration towards success.
Thank you!!

Love that phrase “inspired persistence’ Sergiu! Admittedly, I used to resist the “feeling” of persistence as it always related to dogged effort and struggle, just as you say with the word stubborn. Staying connected to Inspiration enables us to stay the course. Thank you for this insight. Glad you are finding the videos are “amazing”! I do love getting The Weekly Whisper out to you this way.
